The brand is the brain child of Kalli Mehra, Medha Toprani and Kunti Shah, who came together 23 years ago with the realization that there was a great lack of high quality and fashionable accessories. Though all three of them were originally from different fields, they had a common passion and appreciation for all things beautiful, and they had to do something about it!

Over a decade later, Kokommo has become bigger and better! While hand bags remain the core of the brands offerings, they are also well known for their stunning statement jewelry, quirky totes and beautifully bejeweled evening clutches.

Today, Kokommo supplies to leading high end boutiques of India. They have participated in Fashion Weeks in Mumbai & Delhi & have collaborated with fashion greats such as Sabyasachi & Anamika Khanna creating exquisite accessories for their collections. They also export and retail with leading stores in England, Sri Lanka & the United States.
Their collections have also been showcased in South Africa, Singapore, Dubai & Paris.
